About Ms. Maggie Bisceglia

Maggie Bisceglia, a certified registered nurse practitioner, brings extensive medical experience to Beaufort Memorial Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists. She came to the practice from Alleghany Health Network in Pittsburgh, where she was an OBGYN nurse practitioner.
In Beaufort Ms. Bisceglia provides routine gynecologic and pregnancy care.
Among her professional interests are contraception planning and management and treatment options for stress urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Earlier, she worked for eight years at Womancare Associates at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her nursing experience also includes service in hospital labor and delivery, high-risk antepartum, postpartum and GYN units and as a general surgery team member in the OR.
A published writer of fiction for adults and children, Ms. Bisceglia has embarked on a series of books to help young readers understand common diseases. The mother of two grown children enjoys working on her golf game.
