Heart and Vascular Specialists
Taking care of your heart doesn't mean you have to travel to find the best care. Our heart and vascular specialists provide cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology and vascular surgery services. They are equipped to treat a range of heart conditions and vascular diseases and offer:
- Preventive care: We can evaluate your risk for heart and vascular diseases, teach you how to avoid heart and vascular problems, and help improve your quality of life.
- Diagnosis: We can identify problems with the heart and circulatory system using the latest testing methods.
- Emergency interventions: In addition to certification for treating the deadliest form of heart attack, our emergency room (ER) averages a 70-minute door-to-balloon time. That means within 70 minutes of the moment someone having a heart attack arrives at our ER, we’re able to perform a lifesaving heart attack procedure to open his or her blocked heart valve. This beats the American Heart Association’s and American College of Cardiology’s recommended 90 minutes. Our highly trained emergency department staff and heart care specialists also maintain close relationships with an academic medical center for additional treatment if needed.
We offer quality heart care to residents of Beaufort, Bluffton, Okatie, Hampton and Port Royal. Visit our specialists at one of these convenient locations:

We can also help you manage an existing heart condition with effective treatments, procedures and education about how to improve quality of life with heart disease.

Vascular Care
Not all heart problems are located within the heart. Our vascular surgeons focus on problems that impact the entire circulatory system, each requiring expertise in testing, diagnosis and treatment.
Our physicians treat:
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm
- Atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in the blood vessels)
- Coronary artery disease
- Peripheral artery disease
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Stroke
- Vein disorders, such as deep vein thrombosis or varicose veins
We create individualized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique risk factors and lifestyles so vascular diseases don’t have an outsized impact on quality of life.
