Beaufort Memorial team members are excited to share health, wellness and career information with your group through a variety of means. Let us know how we can help!
Host our 40-foot mobile wellness unit at your location. Health screenings available on the mobile unit include:
- Free blood pressure checks for hypertension
- Free blood sugar checks for diabetes
- Other health screenings when our Nurse Practitioner is available
A wide variety of professionals are available to speak with groups on health and career topics including:
- Backpack Safety
- Breast and women's health
- Cancer prevention, screening and treatment
- Ergonomics
- Heart health and warnings of heart attack
- Joint pain
- Mental health
- Pediatric trauma
- Physical therapy
- Nutrition, healthy diets, diabetes
- Signs of stroke
- Sports medicine
- Wellness coaching
- And others
We welcome student groups onsite to engage in hands-on activities, hear about careers in health care and tour facilities such as:
- Clinical simulation labs (PATH Career Development Center)
- Hospital clinical areas (emergency room, surgical center, etc.)
Staff can provide training and assist with certification in:
- Stop the Bleed
- CPR
Career opportunities in health care go far beyond doctors and nurses. Beaufort Memorial is here to support students as they learn about and explore options across five career pathways in health care such as business administration, diagnostics and therapeutics, hospitality, support services and direct patient care. We are happy to participate in events in any of the following ways or work with you on a customized program.
- Overview of options in addition to clinical (culinary, hospitality, information technology, security, fitness coach, facility management, etc.)
- Specific career track (physician, nurse, physical therapy, sports medicine, etc.)
- Introduction to the PATH Program, Rising Star Youth Volunteer Program, PCT/MA training for seniors (dual enrollment)
- Information table at career fair, graduation prep, college prep events
- Information table at school open houses, back-to-school events
