Anna Grace Stoddard, PA-C

“I hope when patients leave their visit they feel heard and confident in their treatment plan.”

Anna Grace Stoddard came to Beaufort Memorial Surgical Specialists in 2020 upon completion of her physician assistant training. She had joined the hospital as an electrocardiogram technician in 2017.

At Surgical Specialists, Ms. Stoddard assists the practice’s board-certified general surgeons in both the operating room and the clinic. She evaluates patients before and after surgery and those referred to the practice from the emergency department and hospital floors.

Though tempted early on by a career in education, the Beaufort native admits there was a certain inevitability about medicine, which she jokingly calls “the family business.” Her father, Dr. Leland Stoddard, is an orthopedic surgeon at Beaufort Memorial Orthopaedic Specialists. Her mother and sister are nurses. And one of her brothers is a physician and the other a medical student.

In her spare time Ms. Stoddard enjoys boating and time at the beach as well as long walks with Oak, the family’s black Lab.
