Born in Mexico City, Dr. Rendon Pope moved to the United States at a young age. She speaks both English and Spanish.
Her father, a physician in Savannah, inspired her to follow him into internal medicine. She grew up in his medical office, often doing her homework there as a child.
In her leisure time, Dr. Rendon Pope enjoys pursuing such widely ranging interests as kayaking, singing and crafting.
