About Mrs. Rebecca Swofford

A certified physician assistant, Rebecca Swofford returned to the county of her birth to join Beaufort Memorial Harrison Peeples Health Care Center as a certified physician assistant. At the practice she specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness.
Taking a holistic approach to patient care, she has a particular interest in whole-body wellness.
During her physician assistant studies, Mrs. Swofford worked for a month at Harrison Peeples and completed clinical rotations in primary care and emergency medicine at Hampton Regional Medical Center and in emergency medicine, primary care and mental health at Beaufort Memorial.
Earlier, she was a student volunteer on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic and at the Georgia Migrant Farm Clinic in Vidalia, Ga.
Mrs. Swofford and her husband, Tucker, enjoy time on the water.
