Why Choose Us for Primary Care?

As the only not-for-profit hospital between Savannah and Charleston, we take our responsibilities seriously. Our mission is to deliver superior healthcare services to our patients and to improve the health of our community. Our primary care services are offered at several locations in and around Beaufort to help keep families healthy and thriving.

Compassion Is a Core Value

Healthcare is a partnership between you, your family and your primary care provider. We have built a team of not only highly skilled healthcare professionals, but a group that also cares deeply about maintaining your health for a lifetime. We listen to your concerns, provide personalized care and offer you the opportunity to provide feedback on our services through a third-party patient satisfaction survey. If you aren’t happy with your healthcare, then we’re not happy. At Beaufort Memorial, we want the best for you and your family, and we will go the extra mile to provide the support you need.

Highly Qualified Providers & Network of Specialists

When you choose a primary care provider, you want to ensure you are getting the best care possible. At Beaufort Memorial, we have brought together a highly qualified team of more than 230 board-certified and board-eligible providers. Among those are our 20-plus primary care providers, who work collaboratively with our network of certified specialists in the areas of cardiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, obstetrics and gynecology and oncology to provide any specialized care you may require.

Continuum of Care

As a primary care patient, you have access to all the resources available from the largest medical center in the Beaufort area. In addition to our caring and qualified team of providers, we also offer the latest in diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation programs and anything else you may need to manage your health.

Commitment to Community

As a not-for-profit community hospital, we treat anyone who comes to us for care, regardless of his or her ability to pay. Additionally, we demonstrate our commitment to improving the health of area residents by participating in a variety of health-related events and associations to promote preventative health and wellness. We offer a comprehensive set of screenings, risk assessments and education seminars for patients of all ages.

Convenience of Care

At Beaufort Memorial, we strive to make taking care of your health and the health of your family as convenient as possible. First, we offer primary care services at five locations in Beaufort, Bluffton, Varnville / Hampton and Lady’s Island, so you can find the care you need close to home. In addition to our multiple locations, we also offer virtual care and express care when you need to see a doctor right away, but don’t have access to your primary care team.

Quality and Safety

With a culture that values integrity, compassion, communication, responsibility, safety and innovation, the Beaufort Memorial team will see you receive the care you need. Our dedication to providing quality care and protecting the safety of our patients has won us national recognition. We have received The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for the hospital, outpatient surgery center and all outpatient physician practices. We have also received numerous A ratings from The Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization that collects safety, quality and resource information from hospitals to aid consumers in their healthcare decision-making.
