Delivering a Baby at Beaufort Memorial
Comprehensive prenatal care from our board-certified OBGYNs, nurses and nurse midwives begins as soon as you think you're pregnant.
To help you prepare for your new bundle of joy, we offer free Baby University classes led by our team of nurses, OB-certified nurse midwives, certified lactation consultant and registered dietitian. Classes include:
When the big event draws near and labor becomes more intense, you'll feel right at home in our beautifully renovated Collins Birthing Center. The center is designed for maximum comfort during labor and delivery, whether you are having a vaginal birth or cesarean delivery, and features:

- 12 private postpartum rooms

- Hugs® electronic security system and 24/7 monitoring
- A Level II nursery for preemies and other infants who need special attention
