About Mrs. Lindsay Gamble

"I believe in listening, empathy and support, recognizing the profound impact of a cancer diagnosis on patients and their families. My mission is to provide not just care, but hope, dignity and resilience."

As part of the team at Beaufort Memorial Oncology Specialists, board-certified family nurse practitioner Lindsay Gamble brings a diverse background in infusion therapy, and critical and palliative care to the New River Cancer Center in Okatie, where she will see medical oncology and hematology patients before, during and after treatment; manage chemotherapy infusions and education; recommend, facilitate and interpret laboratory testing; and order imaging.

Areas of Expertise

  • Infusion Therapy – A method of delivering fluids, such as cancer drugs (chemotherapy) and other medications, directly into the bloodstream often using an IV.
  • Medical Oncology – treating cancer using a variety of medications, including chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy and targeted therapy.
  • Palliative Care – Improving the quality of life for people with serious illnesses and their care partners by managing symptoms, minimizing any discomfort or pain and coordinating care.
  • Cancer Genetics – The field involving the identification and characterization of the specific genetic alterations that lead to the development of particular forms of cancer.

Background

Mrs. Gamble’s commitment to holistic, patient-first, compassionate care developed over her years of nursing in a variety of hospital settings as well as her most recent experience with infusion therapy right here in Beaufort County.

Her passion for medical oncology grew in intensity after supporting multiple family members through their cancer treatments, including her father. She brings a breadth of knowledge about existing and emerging infusion therapies to Beaufort Memorial from Palmetto Infusion Services in Okatie, along with a deep commitment to patients with cancer who want to explore all of their options.

Mrs. Gamble and her husband Erick have two children (and two goldendoodles) and have lived in southern Beaufort County since 2019. They keep busy as a family with school, church and sports.
