About Dr. Eve Ashby
“I believe in treating the ‘whole woman’ from fertility to menopause. Through my practice, I hope to educate all women about the choices they make about their bodies so that they will feel empowered, confident and healthy.”
Joining Beaufort Memorial Lowcountry Medical Group as a gynecologist in 2000, Dr. Eve Ashby is dedicated to the comprehensive care of her patients at all stages of life.
Her professional interests include family planning, adolescent care, menopause and bioidentical hormones. Because the field of hormone replacement therapy has been controversial, with varying recommendations often leading to confusion and indecision, Dr. Ashby has a special interest in helping her patients determine a course of action right for them.
Dr. Ashby currently serves as Assistant Professor at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she enjoys teaching medical students during their clinical rotations. She works with students facilitating core medical concepts as well as mentoring them in their third and fourth years.
Dr. Ashby is the author of the book "Puberty Survival Guide for Girls." She and her husband, gastroenterologist Dr. Richard Stewart, have two daughters.
