About Dr. Brad Kelly

"I was drawn to primary care for the relationships I get to build with patients and their families. I also firmly believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Dr. Brad Kelly came to Beaufort Memorial May River Primary Care in the fall of 2020. He has been on the Beaufort Memorial medical staff since 2016 and practiced at the hospital’s Harrison Peeples Health Care Center in Hampton County prior to moving to the Bluffton practice.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Kelly works with his patients to prevent, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness. Among his professional interests are the treatment of diabetes, hypertension and congestive heart failure, as well as health care maintenance and wellness.

During his residency he served as a house physician and code blue team leader at St. Elizabeth Hospital, a 500-bed hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky, and also presented a series of medical lectures to local high school students.

Earlier, he was a nursing care technician at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington.

Dr. Kelly lives in Bluffton with his wife, Elizabeth, and their cat, Barney. Avid UK basketball fans, they enjoy going to concerts, collecting music memorabilia and spending time at the beach.
