Dr. Brad Kelly Joins Beaufort Memorial May River Primary Care

To provide greater access to primary care in the Bluffton area, Beaufort Memorial has added an additional physician to its May River Primary Care practice.
Dr. Brad Kelly, an experienced board-certified family medicine specialist, will join the May River Primary Care practice and begin seeing patients next month. A member of the Beaufort Memorial medical staff since 2016, Dr. Kelly has been practicing at the hospital’s Harrison Peeples Health Care Center in Hampton County for the past four years.
A graduate of the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kelly completed his residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, a 500-bed hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky. While serving as a house physician, he led the code blue team for the hospital.
The Kentucky native holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Kentucky and worked as a nursing care technician at the university’s Chandler Medical Center in Lexington while pursuing his undergraduate studies.
Among Dr. Kelly’s professional interests are the treatment of diabetes, hypertension, and congestive heart failure, as well as health care maintenance and wellness.
