Conditions we treat

Common Women’s Medical Conditions

Our dedicated team specializes in helping women by treating and managing numerous health issues, including:

  • Endometriosis — Endometriosis may affect up to 11% of menstruating women. Our providers can develop a treatment plan that minimizes the symptoms and pain common with this condition.
  • Fibroids — These muscular, noncancerous tumors can be asymptomatic or cause heavy periods, lower back pain or frequent urination. We can assess your fibroids and determine whether removal or treatment with hormonal therapy is the best option for you.
  • Heavy periods — Heavy periods can be painful and limit quality of life, but they can also signify other health problems. Our providers can recommend solutions to heavy periods and their underlying cause.
  • Menopause — Every woman goes through menopause, but the symptoms can be frustrating. Treatments can help minimize symptoms.
  • Pelvic organ and uterine prolapse — This highly treatable condition commonly occurs with age, although it is not a normal part of aging.
  • Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) — Characterized by hormonal imbalance, PCOS causes a number of unpleasant symptoms and increases your risk for infertility. We can help you find treatments that address symptoms and preserve fertility, if that is your goal.
  • Urinary incontinence — The loss of bladder control, also called urinary incontinence, affects almost half of all postmenopausal women. However, treatments to alleviate incontinence are available and can improve quality of life.

Reproductive Health

Reproductive health is a major component of women’s health care. Our providers can work with you, whether you are looking to delay parenthood or eager to start a family. We offer comprehensive care related to:

  • Birth control — Our providers help you find the method best suited to your lifestyle and needs. Options include pills, patches and vaginal rings, as well as long-term implants.
  • Infertility treatments — Approximately 15% of couples struggle with infertility. Treatments for women can include drugs, surgery or assisted reproductive technology.
