When you need urgent care, BMH Care Anywhere connects you with a board-certified provider in minutes using your smartphone, tablet or computer. You can access urgent care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  When you need to see a Beaufort Memorial primary care provider, you can call the provider's office and schedule a telehealth visit during office hours.

Getting Started With Telehealth

First, download the iOS or Android mobile app or visit the BMH Care Anywhere website, then follow the prompts to create an account, a username and a password. Once that is complete, you are able to start a telehealth visit whenever you need one.

When to Use Virtual Doctor Visits for Urgent Care

BMH Care Anywhere urgent care visits are $67 and perfect when you need:

  • Answers to questions about home treatment options
  • Care on holidays, weekends, late nights and other times when your primary care provider is not available or you are unable to leave the house
  • Treatment for common medical problems (see list below)

You can see a doctor on demand anytime for a consultation, diagnosis or, if needed, a prescription.

When you need to start a visit:

  1. Log in using the mobile app or website.
  2. Select the provider you'd like to see. You may choose from a list of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants at Beaufort Memorial, as well as other board-certified providers.
  3. Provide information about your condition/the reason for your visit.
  4. Upload photos if needed.
  5. Select your pharmacy.
  6. Provide a brief medical history (allergies, prior conditions and current medications).
  7. Enter payment information.
  8. The display will let you know when you are the next patient to be seen and when it is connecting you to the provider.
  9. You'll then have your telehealth visit by video conference. Visits typically last 10 minutes. At the end, the provider will advise you about next steps, for example, whether you need a follow-up visit with your primary care provider. He or she will also send a prescription to your pharmacy, if needed.
