About Mrs. Mary Donovan

Mary Beth Donovan, a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, came to Beaufort Memorial Primary Care in 2017. Specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness in adults, she joined the Beaufort Memorial medical staff in 2013 and practiced for four years with Dr. Clark Trask at Coastal Care MD.
Among her professional interests are diabetes and cholesterol management through lifestyle modifications and medication.
Earlier Mrs. Donovan served as an acute care nurse practitioner in the St. Joseph's/Candler Center for Medication Management in Bluffton and Savannah. At the practice she managed patients placed on anticoagulants for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, heart valve replacement, pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis.
She and her husband, Will, have one young daughter. They enjoy spending time on the water.
