Kate D’Orazio, PA-C

A longtime certified physician assistant in the Beaufort Memorial Pratt Emergency Center has joined the hospital’s Wound Care Center, also located on the main campus in Beaufort.

At the center, Kate D’Orazio, PA-C, treats patients with complex or nonhealing wounds resulting from disease, burns, trauma, surgery and immobility.

D’Orazio served as a full-time physician assistant in the emergency department from 2013 to 2023. Previously, she worked in inpatient internal medicine and primary care as well as emergency medicine.

“In my new role at the Wound Care Center, I look forward to providing a more specialized kind of care and to spending more time with my patients,” D’Orazio said.

The Connecticut native earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies in 2009 from South University in Savannah and a Bachelor of Science in life science in 2005 from Penn State University in State College.
