Carri Knapp, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

In a continuing effort to meet community demand for walk-in care for minor injuries and illnesses, Beaufort Memorial added a board-certified family nurse practitioner to its Express Care & Occupational Health team.

Carri Knapp, FNP-C, brings experience in critical care and palliative care nursing to the practice. Before joining Express Care, she worked as a staff nurse in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital Intensive Care Unit from 2017 to 2021 and most recently for SC House Calls as an advanced practice nurse providing inpatient palliative care at the hospital.

A native of Upstate New York, Knapp earned a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at University of South Carolina College of Nursing in Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

The Express practices offer fast access to care for acute, non-life-threatening medical issues, including illnesses and injuries. They also provide services to employees of businesses participating in Beaufort Memorial’s Well at Work program. The practices are located at:
