Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Primary Care Adds New Internist
January 24, 2021In a continuing effort to meet community demand for primary care services, Beaufort Memorial Hospital has added a new internist to its Beaufort Memorial Bluffton Primary Care practice in Westbury Park. Dr. Johnna Stevens began seeing patients at the practice earlier this month after completing her residency in internal medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Dr. Stevens, a magna cum laude graduate of Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology, received her medical degree from Mercer University in Macon in May 2014. A Tilton, Ga. native, she has also worked in health care administration and was the medical director of an opiate addiction center prior to joining Beaufort Memorial.
Dr. Stevens joins board-certified family medicine specialist Dr. Roger Ulrich and board-certified internist Dr. Robert Webb at Bluffton Primary Care. Located in the Okatie Medical Pavilion at 122 Okatie Center Boulevard North, the practice provides a full range of general adult outpatient medical care with an emphasis on wellness and chronic disease management and prevention.
Located on Okatie Center Boulevard adjacent to Sun City, the Okatie Medical Pavilion replaced the hospital’s multispecialty offices in Westbury Park and includes a walk-in clinic, OB-GYN and orthopedics practices, as well as appointments with specialists in cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, oncology, vascular surgery and neurology. Subspecialists from MUSC Health also will provide in-person and telemedicine consultations.
