To meet the growing demand for joint replacement and preservation, Dr. Vandit Sardana has joined Beaufort Memorial Orthopaedic Specialists. A skilled, board-eligible orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Sardana comes to the practice from the prestigious fellowship training program in adult reconstructive orthopedics at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Educated in Canada, Dr. Sardana earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Ottawa and both a Master of Science in physical chemistry and an Honours Bachelor of Science in forensic science from the University of Toronto. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and is board certified in orthopedics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

As a student, Sardana received an array of academic scholarships and awards at every level of his training. During his residency, he was employed as a clinical skills preceptor for first-year medical students, and he has worked on a broad range of orthopedic research projects as well.
