Physician Assistant Joins Beaufort Memorial OBGYN Specialists

To enhance women’s health care, Beaufort Memorial has added a certified physician assistant to the clinical team at Beaufort Memorial Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists.

Peyton Erb, PA-C, provides widely ranging OBGYN care to patients in the practice’s Beaufort office and assists its physicians during surgical procedures. She enjoys treating women of all ages and has a particular interest in adolescent medicine.

The Atlanta-area native says she “fell in love” with women’s health care and especially obstetrics while working as a clinical medical assistant at Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists in preparation for advanced-practice training. During her PA school clinical rotations, she assisted providers in the clinic and during surgeries that included Caesarian sections and hysterectomies.

Erb earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Savannah and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Mercer University in Macon.

At Beaufort Memorial Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, Erb joins board-certified OBGYNs Drs. Chris Benson, Marlena Masavage, Greg Miller and Dr. Tiffany Bersani; certified registered nurse practitioner Maggie Bisceglia and certified nurse-midwife Catherine Tambroni-Parker.

Located in the Beaufort Medical Plaza, at 989 Ribaut Road in Beaufort, the practice provides the full range of women’s health services, including comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care for patients at every stage of their lives.

The latest screening and diagnostic technologies, among them state-of-the art digital ultrasound, are available in the Beaufort location.
