On March 31, 2025, Beaufort Memorial Harrison Peeples Health Care Center transitioned into the Beaufort Jasper Hampton Comprehensive Health Services (BJHCHS) network and became Varnville Medical Center. 

Although it has a new name, the same friendly faces you have come to know for years with Beaufort Memorial will continue to serve and care for patients in the area.

To continue care with any of the three board-certified providers, physician assistants Harold “Buck” Harvey and Rebecca Swofford, as well as pediatric nurse practitioner Pamela Moore, you will need to submit a medical records request. The center will keep the same phone number and can be reached at 803-943-5228.

It is our policy to provide financial assistance for patients in need. This includes offering a discounted/sliding fee schedule based on family size and income.
